Ponmudi, meaning “Golden Peak,” is a picturesque hill station located approximately 53 kilometers northeast of Thiruvananthapuram. The river is famed for its crystal-clear waters, pebbled shores, and the nearby Meenmutty Falls. The trek to Meenmutty requires permission from the Forest Department, ensuring the preservation of its pristine environment.
